ROVE DESIGN LIMITED

Terms & Conditions

Company number: 17393427
Effective date: 4th October 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by ROVE DESIGN LIMITED (“rove.”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By purchasing a service from rove., you (“you” or “the Client”) agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

These Terms & Conditions do not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.

1. ABOUT ROVE.

ROVE DESIGN LIMITED is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17393427.

Registered office: 79 Welford Road, Solihull, B90 3HU
Email: hello@rove-design.com

Our services are primarily provided remotely and may be available to clients in the UK and internationally where agreed.

2. OUR SERVICES

rove. provides interior design and consultancy services, which may include:

  • eDesign services, providing an online interior design service based on your individual brief;

  • colour consultations;

  • layout consultations;

  • bespoke interior design projects; and

  • full or partial project management and procurement services where specifically agreed.

eDesign

Our eDesign service is an online interior design service delivered remotely.

The specific deliverables included within your eDesign service will be set out on the relevant service description and may include, depending on the package purchased:

  • design concepts;

  • moodboards;

  • colour palettes;

  • furniture and layout recommendations;

  • product recommendations;

  • shopping lists;

  • floorplans;

  • visualisations or renders;

  • design dossiers; and/or

  • other agreed design materials.

The precise deliverables, number of rooms, scope and any other package-specific inclusions will be set out on the relevant service description at the time of purchase.

Bespoke Projects

For projects that require a more tailored service, you may be offered the opportunity to arrange an initial 30-minute consultation call with rove.

The purpose of this call is to discuss your requirements, understand the scope of your project and determine whether a bespoke service may be suitable.

Following the call, where appropriate, we may provide you with a bespoke quotation or proposal setting out the proposed scope of work, deliverables, fees, timescales and payment arrangements.

The 30-minute consultation call does not itself constitute acceptance of a bespoke project, and no obligation to proceed with a bespoke project arises unless and until the relevant quotation or proposal has been accepted and the project has been confirmed in accordance with Section 3.

A service does not include anything that is not expressly stated as being included.

For bespoke projects, the scope of work, deliverables, fees, timescales and payment arrangements will be agreed with you in writing before work begins.

We reserve the right to decline a project or enquiry at our discretion.

3. FORMATION OF THE CONTRACT

No contract exists between you and rove. until:

  1. you have accepted the relevant service, quotation or proposal;

  2. we have received any required payment or deposit; and

  3. we have confirmed your booking or project in writing.

For eDesign services, your purchase of the relevant service together with payment of the required fee constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

For bespoke projects, your written acceptance of our quotation or proposal together with payment of the required deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

An initial consultation call for a potential bespoke project does not, by itself, create a contract for the subsequent design work.

Where there is a conflict between these Terms & Conditions and a bespoke written proposal agreed with you, the bespoke proposal will take precedence for that project.

4. CLIENT INFORMATION & RESPONSIBILTIES

To provide our services, we may ask you to provide information including your name, contact details, photographs, floorplans, measurements, room dimensions, preferences, budget, lifestyle requirements and other information relevant to your project.

You are responsible for ensuring that all information, photographs, measurements, plans and other materials supplied to us are accurate, complete and up to date.

Our designs are prepared based on the information you provide.

If information supplied by you is inaccurate or incomplete, we cannot be responsible for resulting errors, omissions, unsuitable recommendations, additional costs or delays.

You are responsible for notifying us promptly if information or circumstances relevant to your project change.

5. PAYMENT

Services up to £500

Services priced at £500 or less must be paid for in full before work begins.

Your project will not be scheduled and work will not commence until payment has been received.

Services over £500

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, projects priced above £500 require:

  • a 50% deposit before work begins; and

  • the remaining 50% balance before final project materials are released and any watermarks are removed.

We reserve the right to withhold final deliverables, files, drawings, specifications, purchasing information or other project materials until all outstanding amounts have been paid in full.

Bespoke quotations

Where a bespoke quotation is provided following an initial consultation call, the quotation will specify the applicable project fee and payment arrangements.

Unless otherwise stated in the bespoke quotation, the payment structure in this section will apply.

Late payment

If payment is not made when due, we may pause work on your project until payment is received.

Any resulting delay may affect the estimated completion date.

For bespoke projects, we reserve the right to terminate the agreement where payment remains outstanding, subject to your statutory rights.

6. CANCELLATION & CONSUMER RIGHTS

If you are a consumer purchasing our services online or at a distance, you may have a statutory right to cancel your contract within 14 days of entering into it, subject to applicable law.

Details of how this right applies to rove. services, including where you ask us to begin work before the end of the 14-day period, are set out in our Cancellation & Cooling-Off Policy.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove or restrict any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

7. CHANGING OR CANCELLING A PROJECT

If you wish to change or cancel a service, please contact us in writing as soon as possible.

Changes cannot be guaranteed once work has commenced.

A request that materially changes the original scope of work may be treated as additional work and charged separately.

For bespoke projects, where cancellation takes place after work has commenced, any payment due will be determined in accordance with your statutory rights, the agreed project terms and the work already undertaken.

We may also charge for non-refundable third-party costs or commitments reasonably incurred on your behalf where legally permitted.

8. PROJECT TIMESCALES

We will provide an estimated timeframe for your project wherever possible.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, all dates and timescales are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Project timescales depend on receiving the information, photographs, measurements, approvals and feedback required from you.

Delays in providing information or feedback may result in corresponding delays to your project.

We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

9. THE DESIGN PROCESS

Depending on the service purchased, your design may include:

  • design concepts;

  • moodboards;

  • colour palettes;

  • furniture and layout recommendations;

  • product recommendations;

  • shopping lists;

  • floorplans;

  • visualisations or renders;

  • design dossiers; and/or

  • other agreed design materials.

The precise deliverables will be confirmed as part of your booking, or, for bespoke projects, within your agreed quotation or proposal.

Revisions

Each design service includes one round of reasonable revisions within the original agreed brief.

A revision means reasonable amendments to the existing design based on your feedback.

Requests that materially change the original brief, introduce new requirements, add rooms, change the agreed scope or require substantial redesign may be treated as additional work and charged separately.

The revision must be requested within the timeframe stated in your project correspondence or, where no timeframe is specified, within a reasonable period following delivery of the design.

10. DESIGN INFORMATION & TECHNICAL LIMITATIONS

Our designs, layouts, floorplans, moodboards, renders and visualisations are intended to communicate design concepts and recommendations.

Unless expressly agreed as part of a bespoke service, our services do not include:

  • architectural services;

  • structural engineering;

  • building regulation advice or certification;

  • planning applications or planning permission;

  • construction drawings;

  • structural calculations;

  • electrical plans;

  • plumbing plans;

  • building surveying;

  • quantity surveying;

  • specialist engineering; or

  • on-site supervision.

Furniture layouts and floorplans produced as part of an interior design service are not technical construction drawings.

You remain responsible for checking all dimensions, clearances, access requirements, structural limitations, installation requirements and suitability before purchasing products or commencing works.

Where specialist advice is required, you should obtain advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

11. COLOURS, MATERIALS & VISUALISATIONS

Digital moodboards, renders, images and other visualisations are illustrative.

Colours, textures, finishes, materials, proportions and lighting may appear differently depending on screen settings, photography, lighting conditions, printing processes and manufacturing variations.

We cannot guarantee that a colour or finish shown digitally will exactly match the physical product.

We recommend obtaining physical samples, swatches and manufacturer specifications before making significant purchases or commencing works.

12. PRODUCT RECOMMENDATIONS & SHOPPING LISTS

Where your service includes product recommendations or a shopping list, these are recommendations based on information available to us at the time the design is prepared.

We cannot guarantee that products will remain available, in stock, at the quoted price, manufactured or available within an anticipated delivery timeframe.

Prices and availability may change without notice.

Any prices included within a design document or shopping list are indicative and should be checked by you before purchase.

You are responsible for confirming the final price, dimensions, specifications, suitability, delivery arrangements, warranties and return conditions before ordering.

We are not responsible for products purchased directly by you from third-party retailers.

13. PROCUREMENT & PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Purchasing products on your behalf will only form part of a service where full project management or procurement has been specifically agreed in writing.

Where rove. purchases products on your behalf, the relevant proposal will set out the applicable purchasing arrangements, fees, payment terms and responsibilities.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, third-party suppliers remain responsible for their products, including manufacture, quality, defects, warranties and delivery.

14. TRADE DISCOUNTS, AFFILIATE LINKS & COMMISSIONS

From time to time, rove. may have access to trade discounts, affiliate links, referral arrangements or supplier commissions.

Where available and appropriate, we may use these when sourcing products for your project.

Any affiliate commission received by rove. will not increase the price you pay unless expressly stated otherwise.

Where a trade discount is available to us, we may choose to pass some or all of the benefit to you, retain it, or use it to offset our costs, unless a different arrangement has been agreed in writing.

We will aim to make recommendations based on your brief and design requirements and not solely on whether a commission or discount is available.

Where an affiliate relationship is relevant to a recommendation, we will make this clear where required.

15. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SUPPLIERS

Our design documents may contain links to third-party websites, retailers, manufacturers or suppliers.

These businesses are independent from rove.

We are not responsible for their websites, availability, pricing, product descriptions, delivery services, returns policies, warranties, customer service or other actions or omissions.

You should review the relevant retailer’s terms and conditions before placing an order.

16. IMPLEMENTATION OF THE DESIGN

The design is a recommendation and it is your responsibility to decide whether and how to implement it.

You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions, consents or approvals, including landlord permissions where applicable.

You are also responsible for ensuring that any works undertaken at your property comply with applicable planning requirements, building regulations, safety requirements and other relevant laws.

We are not responsible for the actions, omissions, workmanship or conduct of contractors, tradespeople, installers, builders, decorators, electricians, plumbers or other third parties engaged by you.

17. CLIENT BUDGETS

Where you provide us with a budget, we will use it as a guide when preparing your design.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, a stated budget is not a guarantee that the completed project can be delivered for that amount.

Budgets should take account of associated costs such as delivery, installation, fitting, decorating, electrical work, plumbing, construction and professional fees where applicable.

Where quantities of wallpaper, paint, fabric, flooring or other materials are recommended, these should be treated as estimates unless we expressly confirm otherwise.

You should obtain final quantities and specifications from the relevant supplier or qualified professional before ordering.

18. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All intellectual property rights in designs, concepts, layouts, drawings, renders, moodboards, design dossiers, written content, presentations and other materials created by rove. remain the property of ROVE DESIGN LIMITED unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

Once all fees have been paid, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the design materials for the specific property and purpose for which they were created.

You may not, without our prior written permission:

  • reproduce the designs for commercial use;

  • sell or licence the designs;

  • reproduce the designs for another property;

  • distribute the design materials for commercial purposes;

  • use our designs as the basis for providing design services to others; or

  • remove our branding or copyright notices where included.

For commercial projects, permitted use of design materials will be agreed separately as part of the project proposal.

19. PORTFOLIO, PHOTOGRAOHY & MARKETING

We would love to share the work we create with you as part of our portfolio and marketing.

Unless you notify us in writing that you do not wish us to do so, you grant rove. permission to use photographs, videos, renders and other imagery relating to your project for:

  • our website;

  • portfolio materials;

  • social media;

  • marketing materials;

  • awards and industry submissions; and

  • other reasonable promotional purposes.

We will not intentionally publish your full home address or unnecessary personal identifying information alongside project imagery.

Where appropriate, we may reference retailers and suppliers featured within the project.

If you prefer your project not to be used for marketing purposes, please let us know in writing.

20. RESPECTFUL COMMUNICATION

We are committed to providing a professional, respectful and enjoyable experience.

We expect communication with rove. and anyone working on our behalf to remain professional and respectful.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a project where a Client behaves in a threatening, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, offensive or otherwise inappropriate manner.

Where a project is terminated in these circumstances, we reserve the right to charge for work properly completed and costs reasonably incurred, subject to applicable law.

21. CONFIDENTIALITY

We will treat information you provide to us in connection with your project as confidential where it is reasonably understood to be confidential.

This does not prevent us from using information where necessary to provide the services, communicate with suppliers or contractors on your behalf, comply with legal obligations, protect our legitimate business interests, or as otherwise permitted by law.

22. PRIVACY & PERSONAL DATA

We collect and use personal information in accordance with our separate Privacy Notice, which forms part of our relationship with you.

Our Privacy Notice explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, who we may share it with, how long we retain it and your rights.

23. WEBSITE & DIGITAL SERVICES

We aim to ensure that information published on our website is accurate and up to date.

However, we cannot guarantee that the website, its content or links to third-party websites will always be available, accurate, complete or free from errors.

We may update our website, services, prices and service descriptions from time to time.

Changes will not affect a service that you have already purchased and which has been confirmed by us, except where required by law or agreed with you.

24. OUR LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence;

  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

  • any other liability which cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Subject to the above and to the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or in connection with a service will not exceed the total amount you paid to rove. for that service.

We will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit or loss of opportunity, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

25. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR REASONABLE CONTROL

We will not be liable for delay or failure to perform our obligations where the delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

This may include illness, fire, flood, extreme weather, power or internet failure, technology failure, industrial disputes, strikes, government action, war, civil unrest or failure or delay by third-party suppliers.

We will take reasonable steps to notify you and minimise the impact of any such event.

26. COMPLETION OF A PROJECT

A project will be considered complete once the agreed deliverables have been supplied and the included revision period has ended.

Any further work requested after completion may be subject to an additional fee.

We may retain or securely delete project files in accordance with our data retention policies.

27. COMMERCIAL PROJECTS

rove. may provide interior design services for commercial premises, hospitality spaces, offices, retail environments and other non-residential projects.

Where a commercial project is undertaken, the scope, deliverables, intellectual property rights, permitted use, fees, payment terms, procurement arrangements and responsibilities will be agreed separately in writing.

Commercial clients may not rely on residential service descriptions or assumptions where a bespoke commercial proposal has been issued.

28. COMPLAINTS

If you have a concern about our services, please contact us as soon as possible so that we have an opportunity to resolve it.

Complaints should be made in writing to:

Hello@rove-design.com

We will aim to acknowledge your complaint promptly and work with you to reach a reasonable resolution.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights you may have.

29. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The version applicable to your purchase will be the version in force when your service is confirmed, unless a change is required by law.

The latest version will be made available on our website.

30. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions and any contract between you and rove. are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you will retain the benefit of any mandatory protections provided by the law of the country in which you live that cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to those rights, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms & Conditions.

31. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms & Conditions, together with any applicable quotation, proposal, service description or written agreement issued by rove., form the agreement between you and rove. in relation to the relevant service.

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
